A Message from Marilyn Richards, KCF Chair

Marilyn Richards, KCF ChairAs Kendal Charitable Funds (KCF) Board members, we keep Kendal’s mission uppermost in our minds: “Together, transforming the experience of aging.®

At the heart of that work, you’ll find KCF—the philanthropic arm of Kendal—providing funding for meaningful initiatives both within the Kendal System and beyond.

This year, by way of the Impacting Lives Reception at the annual LeadingAge conference, we want to shine a spotlight on the amazing impact our funding has had in the field of aging through KCF’s Lloyd Lewis Promising Innovations Grant and our Affiliate Grant Program.

The Promising Innovations Grant has proudly supported the work of nonprofits doing groundbreaking work in the field of aging since 2012. These grants have directly or indirectly impacted the lives of more than 15,000 older adults across the country.

KCF also makes grants available to Kendal affiliates, and we are proud to report that the examples in this booklet just scratch the surface of the impact our affiliates have had in their local communities.

To continue our work and expand its reach, we need your help. Please consider supporting KCF so we can continue meaningfully Impacting Lives in the field of aging.
